ServiceNow Developer

Role Description

TEKsystems is seeking a dedicated ServiceNow Developer to support ongoing platform initiatives and day-to-day development needs for our Anchorage, Alaska based client. This individual will serve as a key resource for development, platform administration, enhancements, integrations, and ServiceNow best practices.

Communication is a critical factor for success in this environment. This team has traditionally operated with limited remote resources, so they are looking for someone who is highly responsive, dependable, and comfortable collaborating virtually with stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow platform, primarily focused on the ITSM module
• Create and enhance Service Catalog items
• Support Employee Service Center (ESC) portal enhancements
• Execute global platform configuration changes
• Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics
• Perform CMDB cleanup and data quality improvement efforts
• Serve as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow best practices and platform optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Assist with ongoing platform improvements and operational support

Technical Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow
• Deep understanding of the ITSM module
• Experience building and supporting REST API integrations within ServiceNow (required)
• Experience with:
  • Service Catalog
  • Workflows
  • Employee Service Center (ESC)
  • Reporting and Dashboards
  • CMDB administration and cleanup
  • Platform configuration and enhancement activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD integrations
• Experience with GIS integrations
• Broader ServiceNow architecture or platform governance experience
• Ability to assess current-state processes and recommend improvements

Job Type & Location

• This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
