Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative books qualified first meetings between ProductSpace and engineering, PLM, and IT leaders . You own the top of the funnel: research, multi-channel outreach, qualification, and a clean handoff to our solution team.
Responsibilities• Build contact maps across engineering, PLM, configuration management, manufacturing, and IT.
• Run multi-touch outreach sequences by phone, email, and LinkedIn to VPs and Directors of Engineering, PLM Managers, Configuration Managers, CAD/PDM Admins, and IT Directors.
• Book qualified discovery meetings for account executives and the presales team.
• Qualify against our criteria: current CAD, PLM, and MES stack, pain, trigger event, decision maker, and timeline.
• Spot buying triggers: Teamcenter or Windchill upgrades, PLM or CAD migrations, moves to Teamcenter X, NX X, or cloud hosting, PLM to ERP or QMS integration projects, admin and support gaps, shop floor MES needs, new plants, and engineering or IT hiring surges.
• Use Lusha and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for contact research.
• Follow up on ProductSpace webinar and event attendees within 48 hours.
• Report daily on activity, connect rate, meetings booked, and meetings held, and share what messaging is working.
Required experience• 2+ years in inside sales, SDR, BDR, or appointment setting, with at least 1 year booking meetings for a CAD, PLM, PDM, CAE, or MES software company or reseller.
• Comfort with high-volume cold calling and the ability to hold a credible first conversation with an engineering and IT manager.
• Hands-on use of a CRM ( Salesforce) and a prospecting tool (Lusha, , Sales Navigator).
• Clear spoken and written English. Concise, error-free emails.
Preferred experience• Appointment setting for a Siemens Digital Industries Software or PTC leads.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter, Windchill, NX, or Creo terminology
• Outreach into aerospace and defense, industrial machinery, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Experience selling services and managed support (implementation, migration, cloud hosting, staff augmentation) rather than licenses only.
• Exposure to simulation (Simcenter) or manufacturing operations (Opcenter, Tecnomatix, MES) buyers.
