Lead Fence Installer

Job Summary Lead Fence Installer – responsible for overseeing crew, supervising fence installation, removal, and preparation, ensuring compliance with company standards, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining professionalism. Must drive a non-CDL truck and pass background checks. Responsibilities Supervise, train, and provide feedback to workers. Plan, implement, and manage tasks according to priorities and goals. Manage and monitor team attendance and work. Safely set up and take down fences and associated products at customer sites. Report to jobsite and meet with client to review job details. Lead team to prepare area for fencing using hand and power tools as required. Inspect job upon completion and complete operational paperwork (job reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists, etc.). Ensure truck has all equipment and fencing materials needed for the day and that the load is secure per company and DOT standards. Keep worksite clean of debris upon completion. Assist in navigating to sites to ensure crew arrives safely and expediently. Work in a safe and productive manner, remaining constantly cognizant of site safety. Ensure work areas and company vehicles are clean and free of garbage and hazards. Act professionally with employees and customers. Maintain a professional appearance. Actively call a "safety time out" if conditions become unsafe. Requirements Proven leadership abilities managing different teams on assignments. Motivates others to complete tasks under heavy workload and tight deadlines. Current driver’s license in good standing. Ability to accurately and thoroughly complete paperwork. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others. Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washers, post drivers, banding equipment, etc.). Ability to physically handle heavy fence panels (approx. 50-80 lbs.). Must have own transportation. Experience operating a forklift and a one-ton truck preferred but not mandatory. Pay Base Pay Range: $21.38 – $30.72 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
