POST NUMBER: 305627Palo Alto, CA, US RemoteSoftware/SaaSManager, Strategic Finance & FP&AOur client, a data and technology company, is seeking a Manager of Strategic Finance & FP&A to lead company-wide planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.Location:This role is fully remote, with occasional in-person collaboration in the San Francisco Bay Area preferred.Job Description: This highly visible role will partner closely with executive leadership and stakeholders across the organization to translate financial and operational data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling expertise with strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence decision-making in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and long-range financial planningPartner with business leaders to develop forecasts, improve planning accuracy, and evaluate financial performanceBuild financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives, investments, and resource-allocation decisionsDevelop and monitor financial and operational metrics that provide leadership with greater visibility into business performancePrepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance analyses, financial trends, risks, and opportunitiesPartner with executive leadership on corporate development, growth initiatives, and other strategic projectsCollaborate with commercial and operational teams to understand business drivers and translate changes into updated financial plansPerform ad hoc financial analyses and develop executive-ready recommendations that support data-driven decisionsImprove FP&A processes, reporting capabilities, and planning tools as the organization continues to growRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or public accountingExperience within a technology, software, subscription-based, or similarly dynamic business environmentAdvanced financial modeling skills with a strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, forecasting, and cash flowExcellent communication and business-partnering skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations for senior leadershipCompensation:Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to:The individual’s skill sets, experience, and training;Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
