If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job SummaryThe OR Team Leader is responsible for overseeing patient care within assigned service lines, utilizing the nursing process. This role requires clinical expertise and strong coordination skills to manage designated service lines effectively. The Team Leader ensures 24/7 coverage by serving as a resource and designating an alternate Team Leader when absent. Responsibilities include collaboration with nursing staff, Certified Surgical Technologists, and acting as a liaison with physicians, anesthesia, clinics, and other stakeholders as needed. The position manages clinical operations, equipment, instruments, supplies, repairs, regulatory compliance, audits, staff training, and other duties as directed by the Clinical Staff Nurse Manager and OR Nursing Director. The role involves approximately 80% direct engagement in Operating Rooms (OR) and 20% administrative responsibilities.A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is requiredA Bachelors of Science in Nursing is strongly preferredOne (2) or more years experience as a Registered Nurse requiredSpecific area of specialty previous experience preferredCurrent Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse requiredCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) health care provider card requiredACLS Certification required for all the following areas.
