In Your Day-to-Day, You Will Prepare patients and surgical suites for specialty surgical procedures. Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia while ensuring patient safety. Collect and prepare diagnostic samples for laboratory testing. Assist surgeons during procedures while maintaining sterile technique. Support a variety of advanced surgical procedures, including orthopedic, soft tissue, thoracic, laparoscopic, and arthroscopic surgeries. Monitor patient vital signs throughout all stages of anesthesia and recovery. Maintain surgical equipment and ensure instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized. Maintain accurate medical records and anesthesia documentation. Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture. What You Bring Veterinary Technician experience in a surgical setting. RVT, CVT, LVT, or VTS certification preferred. Strong anesthesia monitoring and patient care skills. Proficiency with anesthetic calculations, CRIs, fluid therapy, and medication administration. Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills. A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
