As a Farmers Insurance Agent, you will develop and manage client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and provide exceptional service throughout the insurance process. Candidates with prior insurance experience are strongly preferred, but we also welcome professionals with successful backgrounds in direct sales, marketing, customer acquisition, or relationship-based industries.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their goals and recommending appropriate insurance coverage solutions
• Generate new business through lead follow-up, outbound sales activities, referrals, networking, and community engagement
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting and quoting through policy placement and ongoing customer service
• Educate clients on insurance products including Auto, Home, Life, Commercial, and other coverage options
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience while identifying opportunities to protect clients through additional products and services
• Maintain strong communication, organization, and follow-up practices to support long-term client relationships
• Participate in ongoing professional development, sales coaching, and insurance training opportunities

Requirements

• Previous insurance experience preferred; candidates with direct sales, marketing, financial services, retail sales, or other relationship-based sales experience will also be considered
• Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently connect with clients and build trust
• Proven ability to meet goals, generate business, and follow through with opportunities
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
• California Property & Casualty License preferred or willingness to obtain licensing within 60 days
• Ability to pass required background check and insurance licensing requirements
