Insurance Legal Assistant

Job Description

The Insurance Legal Assistant will support the managing attorney in insurance defense litigation by conducting legal research, preparing documents, managing case files and calendars, communicating with clients, and assisting with filings under attorney review. The role also includes occasional courthouse visits to support case-related needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research related to insurance defense litigation.
Prepare legal documents and case materials.
Manage and maintain organized case files.
Coordinate calendars, deadlines, hearings, and appointments.
Communicate professionally with clients regarding case-related matters.
Support court and agency filings under attorney review.
Attend occasional courthouse visits to provide case support.
Provide administrative and litigation support to the managing attorney.
