Job Summary:

The Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech is responsible for supporting imaging procedures in the IR department, ensuring high-quality patient care and optimal operation of radiologic equipment. This role requires technical proficiency and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform interventional procedures utilizing GE-BI PLANE equipment with precision and adherence to protocols.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Assist radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and sterility standards.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately within the Meditech system, including patient data and procedure details.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Follow infection control and safety guidelines rigorously to maintain a sterile environment.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  
  
• 
  Hold ARRT and IR Certification, along with valid RT credentials.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS and CPR certifications.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of radiologic or interventional radiology experience.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong technical skills and knowledge of interventional procedures.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
