About the Position

Gilroy, CA Occupational Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM | Occupational Medicine & Urgent Care

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) for an Occupational Medicine locum tenens opportunity in Gilroy, California .

This opportunity offers a structured weekday schedule in an established outpatient medical practice, combining workplace injury management, occupational health examinations, and walk-in urgent care. The position is ideal for a physician comfortable managing a diverse range of occupational and acute-care presentations while collaborating with employers to support workplace health and safety.

Schedule & Practice Setting

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, or until the last patient is seen
Outpatient private medical office in Gilroy, California
Occupational Medicine and walk-in Urgent Care
Immediate availability preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
Perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations
Evaluate and manage walk-in urgent care patients
Perform appropriate in-office procedures
Communicate with employers regarding medical findings, treatment recommendations, and return-to-work considerations
Provide professional, respectful, and patient-centered care
Complete clinical documentation accurately and promptly

Required Qualifications

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Active, unrestricted California medical license
Current DEA registration
Board Certification in a relevant medical specialty
Clinical experience appropriate for Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care
Proficiency in workplace injury management, occupational examinations, and common outpatient procedures
