Systems Engineer IV

Description The Systems Engineer IV serves as a principal technical leader for complex system and system-of-systems efforts in a NAVSEA Program Office Support role. This role drives end-to-end systems engineering activities across requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and sustainment planning, ensuring mission solutions are technically sound and executable. This position is contingent upon award. Award is expected in 3-6 months. Requirements Extensive experience leading large defense-system engineering efforts across multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated success in requirements decomposition, interface governance, and technical baseline management. Strong background in risk management, verification planning, and lifecycle decision support for senior stakeholders. Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline. 10+ years of professional systems engineering experience. Demonstrated ability to integrate software, hardware, and networked subsystems into mission-capable solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reviews and leadership briefings.
