Position Summary

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join our forward-thinking imaging department. Here, you will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic tests and team up with a collaborative group of healthcare providers to ensure patients receive timely and detailed imaging, leading to peace of mind and accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, taking the time to explain each step with care and compassion
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure high-caliber diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document all imaging procedures accurately while maintaining organized patient files in the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography training program is highly desired

Certifications Needed

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred but not mandatory
