RN Nurse Manager, Ambulatory Surgery Center The RN Nurse Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role manages nursing staff, coordinates patient care, and implements policies and procedures. The Nurse Manager works closely with physicians, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance. Coordinate staff schedules and assignments. Provide training and development opportunities for staff. Ensure efficient patient flow and timely care. Address patient concerns and resolve issues. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop care plans. Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards. Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation. Implement quality improvement initiatives. Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation. Oversee billing and coding processes. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Manage the department's budget and allocate resources. Track and control expenditures. Prepare financial reports. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting. Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration. At least 7 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR). Salary Range $100,500 + depending on qualifications Working Environment / Equipment Standard office equipment. Repetitive use of a keyboard. May be exposed to communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, radiation, hazardous medications, and disoriented or combative patients.
