Meridian Global Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Residential Building Superintendent for a long-term assignment in White Plains, NY.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, dependable, and experienced in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of residential properties. We are looking for someone with strong general maintenance skills who is comfortable troubleshooting issues and completing a variety of repairs throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the residential property.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic electrical repairs.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Complete sheetrock installation, patching, and repairs.
• Perform basic carpentry and general construction-related repairs.
• Perform welding work as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Perform preventive maintenance to help reduce equipment and property issues.
• Maintain common areas, mechanical areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property management, vendors, and other team members.
• Follow all property procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist with other building maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Building Superintendent, Maintenance Technician, Handyman, Building Engineer, or similar residential property maintenance position preferred.
• Experience working in residential apartment buildings or multifamily properties strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with:
• • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Sheetrock/drywall
  • Carpentry
  • Welding
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage and prioritize assigned maintenance requests.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Dependable, professional, and able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with building maintenance.

Pay

$24.00–$28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
