LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established company in North County San Diego to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary to hire role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative accounting team in a fast-paced, casual work environment supporting a nationally recognized lifestyle brand.

The ideal candidate will bring strong accounts payable experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within an ERP environment. This role offers exposure to a high-volume AP function and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive accounting leadership team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate accounts payable records
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices
• Enter and process invoices through an ERP system and automated document management workflow
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Review and process employee expense reports
• Process corporate credit card transactions and reconciliations
• Assist with supplier payment processing
• Support month-end close activities, including accrual reporting
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely approvals and payment processing
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles
• Experience with invoice matching, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing
• Experience working within an ERP system
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with vendors and internal teams
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with automated invoice processing software is a plus

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
