Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking an experienced Insurance Recovery Attorney to join its highly regarded Insurance Recovery practice. The attorney will assist clients in securing defense and indemnity coverage for a wide range of third-party liability claims.

This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance coverage attorney who wants to work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel while handling a diverse and sophisticated policyholder caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent policyholders in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims.
• Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues across a broad range of commercial insurance products.
• Work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel to pursue coverage.
• Advise clients regarding their rights and obligations under commercial insurance policies.
• Handle sophisticated and high-value policyholder matters involving complex coverage disputes.
• Collaborate with attorneys and professionals across a nationally recognized Insurance Recovery practice.
• Manage a varied caseload while providing strategic, high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of insurance coverage experience .
• Policyholder-side insurance recovery experience strongly preferred.
• Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or policyholder-focused boutique preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance policies and coverage issues.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong judgment and ability to work directly with clients, insurers, and defense counsel.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a sophisticated and fast-paced practice.
