A pharmacy professional is needed for a Contract to Hire opportunity at a closed-door HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy in Fort Myers, FL. This site specializes in mail order medications, supporting over 45 employees focused on timely and accurate medication delivery to patients. The position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with Fridays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.


Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, and maintaining effective communication with both providers and patients to ensure high-quality patient care and support. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to reliability, punctuality, and a positive, patient-centered approach.


Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Florida pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience is highly preferred and should be explicitly noted on the resume, regardless of extent
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is advantageous; please confirm experience with this system
• Excellent communication skills with both patients and healthcare providers
• Consistent track record of attendance and professional reliability
