Tort & Insurance Associate Attorney, Fort Myers Office The firm seeks an attorney with a minimum of 3 years insurance litigation experience, exceptional writing and analytical skills, and experience in federal courts with familiarity in §1983 cases and appellate work. The position involves drafting and reviewing pleadings, evaluating cases, responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and negotiating settlements. Candidates must be licensed members of the Florida Bar in good standing. Experience working with high-net-worth clients on preservation and planning strategies, including wills, trusts, POAs, and ancillary documents is required. Paralegal – Real Estate – Bonita Springs, Naples, or Fort Myers The firm seeks a dedicated real estate paralegal to support attorneys throughout transactions, from client contact to closing. Client Billing Specialist The firm seeks a client billing specialist to join the team and work closely with accounting and attorneys. Responsibilities Manage e-billing process and ensure client set up aligns with billing guidelines Perform pre-audit of time entries to minimize reductions at invoice review Create and edit prebills per attorney instructions and deliver bills in accordance with client guidelines Research and create appeals for rejected or reduced billing submissions and meet appeal deadlines Participate in monitoring clients for compliance audit & appeal program eligibility Identify trends and issues regarding discounts, write-downs, and write-offs; communicate with management Oversee appeals to ensure timely responses and follow-up Establish, foster, and maintain professional relationships with attorneys, staff, firm management, and clients Act as client conduit for billing; communicate arrangements with attorneys and clients Respond to inquiries relating to accruals, audits, payments report; provide rate analysis; recommend solutions; prepare ad hoc reports Ensure firm policies and practices are followed; promote consistency and education on professional and technical matters Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 3 years of legal client service experience, preferably in billing; other professional backgrounds may be considered Knowledge of legal billing requirements and familiarity with electronic billing platforms Strong technical and analytical skills Strong time and project management skills Analytical, intellectually curious, and motivated to find solutions Understanding of litigation phases and specialized billing arrangements Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and perform under pressure Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; collegial ability with attorneys, clients, and administrative colleagues Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills Proficiency in industry-standard time & billing and collection software, Microsoft Office suite Aderant Expert (Classic) experience a plus Compensation and benefits include competitive pay, bonus program, hybrid or remote work options, health benefits, continuing education allowance, and generous time off. #J-18808-Ljbffr
