Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Engagement in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
