As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues.
- Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports a welcoming environment for occupants and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
