Power BI Lead

As a Power BI Developer in a management consulting firm, you will design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization solutions that enable clients to make data‑driven decisions. You will collaborate with consulting teams across delivery, sales, marketing, and GTM functions to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development : Build interactive and scalable Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to client needs.
- Data Modeling : Design and optimize data models using DAX, Power Query, and SQL for performance and accuracy.
- Analytics & Insights : Provide workforce insights, trend analysis, and KPI tracking to support strategic decisions.
- Integration : Connect Power BI with enterprise systems (Workday, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Microsoft O365).
- Stakeholder Management : Partner with consulting teams and client leadership to present insights and recommendations.
- Change & Project Management : Support analytics transformation projects, ensuring readiness, validation, and issue resolution.
- Governance & Compliance : Ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and governance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Power BI development within consulting or analytics environments.
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data visualization best practices .
- Familiarity with Azure services, Power Automate, and Dataverse is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client‑facing roles.
