About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Product and Business Development to lead the commercial aspects of product development and portfolio expansion. The successful candidate will be the commercial lead for new product development, with a focus on expanding the value proposition and marketplace differentiation. This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams, including marketing, product development, project management, quality, and operations, to ensure the development of new products and services that enhance the company's competitive position. The VP will also be responsible for maintaining strong communication with company leadership, creating and maintaining a trusted advisor status with key opinion leaders, and leading efforts to identify and secure strategic business partnerships. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a business field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, with at least 8 years' experience in business management, preferably in a commercial environment related to pharmacy compounding. The role requires a subject matter expert in hospital pharmacy product use and the 503B industry, with a proven track record of forming positive business relationships and the ability to work effectively across commercial, operations, finance, and executive teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide technical solutions, close business deals, and motivate sales. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools is essential, and an understanding of 503B regulatory requirements, cGMP standards, and USP guidelines is a plus.
