About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Finance for Engagement Solutions to join their team. The successful candidate will be the senior finance lead for the Engagement Solutions business unit, which is a part of a larger organization with a focus on professional life sciences services. This role is pivotal in translating business strategy into financial plans, forecasts, and reporting, and will involve leading budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. The VP, Finance will also be responsible for developing financial analysis and insights, and will serve as the primary finance business partner to the Executive Vice President of Engagement Solutions. The role requires a hands-on strategic partner who can challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear financial recommendations to senior leaders. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of professional finance experience, with a strong background in FP&A, business-unit finance, and a proven track record of supporting multi-service consulting, communications, data, or life sciences organizations. A deep knowledge of financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and business-unit profitability drivers is essential. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, commercially driven, and have the ability to influence senior business leaders. Strong leadership skills are required to build and develop a high-performing finance team, and the candidate should be a trusted team player with executive presence. The role demands a continuous improvement mindset, the ability to operate in fast-changing environments, and a commitment to fostering a culture of rigorous financial analysis.
