Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Building Bridges Behavioral Services
Job Summary At Building Bridges Behavioral Services, we believe autism services should help individuals build meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. We specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder through social, emotional, vocational, and community-based programming that prepares them for success beyond therapy. We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work primarily with Level 1 and Level 2 autistic teens and young adults in a highly social, clinic-based environment focused on real-world skill development, relationship building, independence, and community participation. As a BCBA with Building Bridges, you will develop and oversee individualized treatment programs, provide direct clinical support to clients, supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), collaborate with families, and contribute to the continued growth of our clinical programs. We value clinicians who enjoy being actively involved in treatment and building meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve. Unlike many traditional ABA settings, our services emphasize social communication, emotional awareness, executive functioning, self-advocacy, vocational readiness, and independent living skills. Much of our work occurs in small groups, community settings, and naturally occurring social environments where clients can practice skills that directly impact their daily lives. Our clinic does not currently specialize in severe challenging behavior. Instead, we focus on helping autistic teens and young adults develop the social, emotional, vocational, and independent living skills needed to navigate adolescence and adulthood successfully. Our clinical model integrates evidence-based ABA practices with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DNA-V, social-emotional learning, and psychological flexibility training. Previous experience with these approaches is welcomed but not required. Building Bridges is committed to the ongoing development of its clinicians and provides in-house training, mentorship, and paid continuing education opportunities to help staff expand their clinical expertise and confidence working with adolescents and young adults. BCBAs are encouraged to continue growing professionally while helping shape innovative services for a population that is often underserved within traditional ABA programs. Most services occur in our clinic setting, with additional opportunities for community-based programming and outings. Our primary operating hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Because many of our clients attend school during the day, the majority of direct clinical services occur during afternoon and evening hours. A typical BCBA schedule includes a combination of direct client services, supervision, treatment planning, parent collaboration, and group-based programming. This position is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys clinical autonomy, values creativity in treatment development, and is looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a population that is often underserved within traditional ABA programs. As our organization continues to grow, opportunities for leadership, mentorship, program development, and specialization will be available. Duties Develop and supervise individualized ABA programs for clients in clinic and community settings Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans Provide direct clinical support and supervision for clients as required by the treatment plan Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Support and supervise aspiring RBTs and fieldwork candidates in a helpful, collaborative, and growth-oriented manner Review session notes and treatment data to monitor client progress and staff proficiency Provide parent training and caregiver support Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with families, staff, and other professionals to promote meaningful outcomes Manage and maintain your own recurring weekly schedule and caseload organization Participate in and potentially help lead clinic-based social groups and community-based programming Supervise RBTs and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB guidelines and state regulations Qualifications Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field Current BCBA certification through the BACB Appropriate state licensure as required Experience and/or strong interest in working with autistic teenagers and adults Strong interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently while managing scheduling and clinical responsibilities Passion for mentorship, hands-on clinical work, and socially meaningful programming
