Regional Sales Manager - West

A leader in connectivity products and custom solutions…..We're hiring a Regional Sales Manager to lead field sales, OEM engagement, and distribution partner development across CA, AZ, NV, and UT. This is a remote role for a sales professional with experience in technical B2B selling, OEM account management, channel/distribution collaboration, or field sales within a technology-driven environment. In this position, you will drive new business with OEM customers while enabling distributor partners to support regional growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical customer discussions, relationship-building, and influencing engineers and buyers throughout the sales cycle.HARTING aims to be a trusted advisor to HARTING customers and positions itself as the go-to source expert for industrial connectivity solutions. We partner directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Distribution partners for standard product, designed-in value-added products, and Product Development initiatives.ResponsibilitiesEngage directly with OEM engineering, operations, and purchasing teams to identify new design opportunities and drive specification of HARTING solutionsLead technical customer discussions to uncover applications, influence design decisions, and support new product or technology adoptionLead sales growth across CA, AZ, NV, and UT through a combination of OEM selling and distributor collaborationStrengthen relationships at distributor branches; collaborate on joint sales activities and opportunity developmentConduct OEM customer visits to uncover new opportunities and provide technical guidanceDeliver product and solution training to distributor sales teamsSupport distributor branch planning, business reviews, and performance follow-upResolve customer or channel issues impacting sales performanceTrack and manage opportunities through CRMCollaborate with internal teams (Distribution Management, Product Management, Account Management) to align on sales strategy and executionMaintain a target account list and follow-up action plansTravel up to 50% within the regionQualifications3+ years of B2B field sales experience, ideally in OEM, technical, channel/distribution, or other complex technology-driven sales environmentsExperience managing multi-step or complex sales cycles and working with technical stakeholders (engineers, operations teams, or technical buyers)Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skillsBachelor's degree required, engineering or STEM preferredCRM experience (SAP preferred)HARTING Americas is a subsidiary of HARTING Technology Group, a German-based global leader in industrial connectivity solutions.
