Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and create effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, utilizing the latest edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Provide a variety of therapeutic services, including crisis intervention, brief therapy, individual and couples counseling, family therapy, and group-based interventions.
\n
• Maintain an accurate and confidential record of therapy sessions, while preparing necessary documentation and reports to ensure compliance with health regulations and quality standards.

• Engage in collaborative consultations with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to discuss treatment approaches and coordinate care for clients needing more intensive support.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and methodologies to enhance treatment outcomes, while staying informed about new developments in the mental health field.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to continually refine your skills and competencies as a therapist.

• Act as a consultant to peers and contribute actively to clinical discussions regarding complex cases or quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent (e.g., Psy.D) to practice in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of mental health assessment and intervention.

• Proficient in using telehealth technology and electronic health records, with a strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and data security.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health or outpatient clinic environment is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Evidence-Based Treatment (EBT) modalities and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) practices.
