About the Job Director, Evidence Communication and Dissemination – U.S. HEOR (Location: Morristown, NJ / Cambridge, MA). The role supports the HEOR organization by translating evidence into clear, compliant external materials and ensuring effective U.S. dissemination. Works closely with HEOR Strategy Leads on dissemination planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. Main Responsibilities Evidence Communication & Content Development Define communication needs and partner with external vendors to develop dissemination materials/tools. Provide strategic direction, review, and content guidance, ensuring scientific accuracy, clarity, and compliance. Oversee development of materials such as newsletters, infographics, leave‑behind, internal slides, press releases, and website content. Translate HEOR outputs into audience‑appropriate content maintaining scientific accuracy and compliance. Establish and maintain standards and best practices for HEOR communications across U.S. deliverables. Dissemination Planning & Execution Ensure all Integrated Evidence Generation and Dissemination Plans (IEGDPs) include a defined U.S. dissemination plan. Support planning, sequencing, and execution of dissemination activities across the lifecycle. Develop repeatable approaches, templates, and guidance for efficient dissemination. Provide guidance on timing, channel selection, and readiness. Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and clarity. Monitor and assess effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative indicators and refine approaches. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on internal governance for HEOR evidence approval. U.S. Dissemination Pathway Expertise Maintain deep expertise in U.S. dissemination pathways such as PIE, HCEI, CFL, general promotion medical proactive and reactive communications. Provide consultation on navigating pathways and selecting appropriate approaches for specific deliverables. Support consistent application of pathways across the HEOR organization and educate teams. Innovation in Dissemination Explore and assess non‑traditional compliant dissemination channels (e.g., press releases, email communications, social media, digital‑adjacent channels). Identify opportunities to improve reach and clarity of evidence. About You Education Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MSc, MPH, or PharmD) in a scientific discipline. Experience & Expertise 8–10 years of experience in communications within pharmaceuticals/biotech or a healthcare publication agency. Experience in HEOR communication, dissemination, medical communications, or a related role in the U.S. healthcare environment. Strong working knowledge of U.S. dissemination pathways and terminology (PIE, HCEI, CFL, medical proactive/reactive). Demonstrated understanding of HEOR evidence generation, study designs, analyses, and outputs. Ability to interpret HEOR data and develop accurate, compelling evidence narratives. Strong evidence storytelling skills, translating data into clear communication materials. Experience working in cross‑functional, matrixed teams. Salary Base salary range: $178,500.00 – $257,833.33. Salary determined based on experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in company employee benefit programs.
