Shift Supervisor needs to manage continuous improvement projects, R&D new product developments, CAPA (corrective action and preventive action), new hire development, associate accountability, associate performance reviews, audit documentation within batch order requirements, policies and procedures adherence, accident reports, operations efficiencies, and mange associates labor hours. Department includes multi-cultural non-union associates operating in a 24/7 operation. Coordinates the production of goods within their area of the plant. Ensures machines are properly repaired and running efficiently to standard and maintains focused motivated work force.Primary ResponsibilitiesIdentify associate and food safety concerns and initiate internal CAPA.Coach and mentor dept. leads to become supervisorsAccident and incident reporting investigationIdentify quality issues and initiate external CAPACreate weekly staffing requirements based on planning schedule.Communicate any updates to dept. leads on a daily basisIdentify Continuous ImprovementPolicies and Procedures adherenceAssociate AccountabilityR&D new product developmentQAKeep an accurate department inventoryProvide proper documentation and validate employee work documentsNew hire developmentClosing Batch Orders and investigating any pending issuesShift ChangeProvide support to other departments to achieve GNC prioritiesOwnership of all GMP's within all areas of responsibilityOperating EfficienciesQualificationsKnowledge and Skill Requirements2 year associate degree or 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing environmentCoach/Train AssociatesActive member within Safety CommitteeActive role within GNC Continuous improvementDelegate ResponsibilitiesDetail Oriented and results drivenHigh level of communicationAssociate AccountabilityMeasure EfficiencyAbove average computer skillsAudit DocumentationFacilitate MeetingsMultitasking
