Position Purpose Assist the General Manager by leading, coaching, and training the Sales team to create a welcoming atmosphere so members, guests, and staff feel informed and supported. Responsibilities Ensure sales targets are met, especially on weekends or when the General Manager is absent. Promote club memberships, individual memberships, fitness services, products, and programs to achieve or exceed sales goals. Oversee membership billing, review sales processes, and ensure timely follow‑up with leads and prospects. Clearly communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to the team, ensuring everyone understands their roles. Supervise facility maintenance and cleanliness, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Enforce health and safety regulations, maintain certifications, and implement safety protocols. Deliver high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns, handling inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Engage members in a friendly manner, actively listen to their needs, and provide helpful responses. Communicate calmly and clearly in emergencies or disruptions, providing necessary instructions to staff and members. Qualifications At least 2 years of customer service experience. 3–4 years of sales experience. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills across all functions. Strong attention to detail, systematic problem solving, and effective time management. Proficient in MS Office. Experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus. Alignment with the company’s core values. Requirements Successful background check. CPR certification within 30 days of hire. Physical ability to work in a gym setting, move around club floors, bend, and lift more than 40 lb. Proficiency in using the company computer system, including data entry and report reading.
