This role is essential in creating a positive candidate experience and serving as a frontline resource for employees. The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys helping others, and can communicate effectively with diverse individuals. This position offers a balanced 40-hour workweek.ResponsibilitiesAssist the HR Manager and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process, from position opening to onboarding.Create and maintain job postings on internal and external platforms.Review applications and assist with initial candidate screening.Coordinate phone screens, interviews, and other selection activities.Assist with interview preparation, candidate materials, and documentation.Support candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.Assist with offer and pre-employment processes, including background checks and drug screens.Coordinate with recruiting resources and assist with new-hire onboarding.Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries.Respond to employee questions regarding HR processes and policies.Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and team.Perform HRIS activities, including data entry and reporting.Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
