The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.
• Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights.
• Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups.
• Coordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient/provider relationship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current New York State RN License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• One year med/surg experience and one year of specialty experience preferred.
• ANA certification or certification from appropriate agency in specialty preferred.
• Ability to operate all equipment and EMR systems found in care center as necessary to perform all prescribed duties.
• Ability to handle information with strict confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Posted Salary Range

USD $58.91 - USD $64.91 /Hr.
