School Psychologist – School-Based

???? 2026–2027 School Year (8/5/26 – 5/19/27)
???? Full-Time | 35 Hours per Week
Hamilton County Schools is seeking qualified and student-centered School Psychologists to join the district for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions provide comprehensive psychological services supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success across the district.
Position Details
- Full-time position – 35 hours per week
- Multiple openings available (5 positions)
- School assignments vary based on district needs
- Start Date: August 5, 2026
- End Date: May 19, 2027
Caseload Information
- Caseloads and age groups will vary depending on assignment
- Additional caseload details are forthcoming as the district finalizes staffing and student numbers for the upcoming school year
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Assist with intervention planning, behavioral supports, and progress monitoring
- Maintain compliant documentation and evaluation timelines
- Provide consultation and recommendations to support student success across educational settings
Hybrid Flexibility
- The district may consider a 4/1 hybrid schedule for candidates with a valid reason and the qualifications necessary to effectively support students within a hybrid model
Requirements
- Active DOE Certification required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
Credentialing Requirements
- Fingerprints required prior to start
