A well-established 500-bed hospital in the Lancaster, PA area is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment with an ASAP start. This opportunity offers a variable schedule working days and afternoons, providing some flexibility to fit your needs.


Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Consulting with physicians and healthcare teams on medication therapies
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles to optimize dosing regimens
• Utilizing IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of medication safety, regulations, and clinical pharmacy practices
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical staff
