Contract Specialist

Job TitleContracting SpecialistDutiesSoliciting, evaluating, negotiating, and awarding contracts of significant importance.Performing and documenting market research.Prepare acquisition documents such as Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Consolidation Determinations and Findings, Justification and Approvals.Prepare solicitations, solicitation amendments, contract awards, and contract modifications.Address review comments received from higher level review of acquisition documents.Resolve issues/problems associated with contract administration.Serve as the principal contracting advisor to the project manager.Source Selection Decision Documents, Pre-Negotiation Memorandums, and Price Negotiation Memorandums.
