About the Role Our client, a reputable automotive workshop in Paarl , is looking for a skilled and dedicated Automotive Electrician to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems in various vehicle makes and models. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive electrical principles, the ability to work with diagnostic equipment, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues, including wiring harnesses, lighting systems, charging systems, and battery problems. Utilize diagnostic tools and multimeters to accurately identify faults and malfunctions. Perform installations and repairs of automotive accessories, such as audio systems, alarms, and GPS trackers. Interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics to facilitate repairs. Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and to industry standards. Advise customers on necessary electrical repairs and maintenance. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician or a similar role. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic equipment, including scan tools and multimeters. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Good problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. A valid driver's license and a commitment to safety are required.
