The Fountain Group is Hiring: IT Desktop Support Technician

Location: Tolleson (Phoenix), AZ
Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00–$21.00/hour
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Start Date: August 2026

The Fountain Group is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician for a prominent client. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys providing hands-on technical support in a fast-paced production environment while delivering outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, IP phones, and conference room equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and basic infrastructure-related issues
• Support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments
• Perform Active Directory administration tasks
• Provide limited support for corporate mobile devices
• Troubleshoot Cisco VPN and Citrix connectivity issues
• Deliver remote support using tools such as LogMeIn
• Image and deploy devices using USB/PXE
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Support printer and IP telephony systems
• Coordinate hardware ordering and deployment
• Manage and update support requests through ServiceNow
• Assist with IT projects and Smart Hands support

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related field
• 1+ year of hardware support experience
• 1+ year of in-person, customer-facing IT support experience
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, basic software, and basic infrastructure-related issues
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing incoming requests through a ticketing system
• Experience using ServiceNow to manage assigned support tickets

• CompTIA ITF+
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Server+
• CompTIA Cloud+
• CompTIA Mobility+

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
