- Title: CNC Machinery Maintenance Specialist
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Contract: Six months
- Shift: Second shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
- Pay: $26.00–$30.00/hour, based on proven work history
- Keep CNC lathes and warm forge presses online by diagnosing electrical/mechanical faults and restoring reliable operation
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with codes and engineering drawings
- Execute preventive maintenance and routine inspections to prevent breakdowns
- Replace faulty components and validate proper machine performance
- Document work performed, parts used, and findings
- Work closely with engineers, other technicians, and plant teams to improve processes
- Production environment background; focus on CNC and mechanical press troubleshooting/repair preferred
- Knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial control systems
- Read/interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints
- Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Strong communication and basic computer proficiency
- Flexible with shifts; willing to work overtime as needed
- Electrical diagnostics and repair with verification of stable operation
- Hands-on CNC and press experience in a production setting
- Strong analytical problem-solving across electrical and mechanical domains
- Electrical troubleshooting and CNC repair expertise
- Exceptional mechanical-only candidates with deep CNC skill may be considered
- Your experience centers on facilities maintenance rather than production equipment
- High School Diploma or GED
