Scheduler/Capacity Planner – West Star Aviation Full Time, On‑Site, East Alton, IL, USA. Employee ID 1239. Job Overview The Scheduler/Capacity Planner will develop and maintain the master schedule for aircraft projects, coordinating with various departments to ensure optimal utilization of resources and alignment with customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Supports sales in the Request for Schedule for available capacity and slots with minimal supervision. Maintains the master schedule for all aircraft projects. Coordinates with project managers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling and resource allocation. Supports operations meetings as required to communicate scheduling constraints and/or gaps. Analyzes current and forecasted workloads to determine capacity requirements. Identifies and addresses potential bottlenecks and resource constraints. Analyzes scheduling data for variability, cohesiveness, and adequacy, maintaining the integrity of all schedule data. Adjusts schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope, priorities, and resource availability. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling and capacity planning. Implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency and accuracy. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Technical certification or bachelor’s degree in Business or related curriculum, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years of experience in Corporate Aviation Scheduling. Demand/Capacity Planning Experience in Aviation preferred. Excellent understanding and proficient use of Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word for Windows. Knowledge of Corridor preferred but not required. Proficient use of scheduling programs, spreadsheets, word processors, and databases. Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-resolving skills. Ability to address and resolve issues related to what‑if scenario development. Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required. Must be able to communicate well with various levels of employees and management. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $70,000–$85,000. Additional compensation may include a semi-annual discretionary bonus based on company and site performance.
