Job Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM.

Assignment Details

13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active RN license in NH or Compact state.
• Up to date resume with 2-3 years of ICU experience; strong candidates closer to 2 years will be considered.
• Experience in various care settings and ability to work independently and quickly.
• Prefer candidates with CVICU experience; please highlight on the resume if applicable.
• Current certifications: BLS & ACLS. Preferred: TNCC, PALS, CCRN.
• EMR experience, preferably Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed.
• Utilize advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, and ICP monitoring.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Possibility of floating to other units as needed, including ED, Stepdown, Med-Surg, and potentially Behavioral Health.
