Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Concord, NH. Start date 09/13/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,125-$2,270 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Work setting: high-acuity medical- surgical/respiratory care unit within a hospital setting. This travel assignment supports holiday coverage on a 12-hour night shift, with patient care responsibilities on a unit caring for diverse diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.

- Work setting: high-acuity Med Surg/Telemetry on a hospital unit
- Local rate eligible for nearby candidates (less than 50 miles)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients on a high-acuity unit
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and IV therapies, perform wound care, and conduct ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans and respond to changes in condition
- Document clearly and timely in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred)
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education; participate in safety and infection-control protocols
- Be prepared for patient assignments with 1:5 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios, with occasional unit float to nearby area assignments as needed

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license required at time of submission; NURSYS license verification for all active RN licenses
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience on a high-acuity unit
- BLS required; ACLS required prior to start; NHISS credentialing needed prior to start
- Dysrhythmia exam required during onboarding with a preferred score of 80% or higher
- EMR experience preferred: Cerner
- RTO must be included at submission; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
