Job Title: RN Traveler Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: Traveler Contract Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: 2+ years in Medical-Surgical License: Active NH or Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required, NHISS needed prior to start Must-Have: - Up-to-date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in specialty and documents travel experience - Skills Checklist matching specialty - Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics - NURSYS Report for license verification with all active RN licenses - RTO must be included at time of submission - 1-2 years minimum Med-Surg experience is necessary; open to Critical Care RN if fluent with care of Med-Surg ratios and acuity - Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80% Description: This position requires a registered nurse traveler with a minimum of two years of experience in the Medical-Surgical specialty. Candidates must possess an active NH or Compact RN license at the time of submission. Current certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NHISS, are mandatory prior to starting. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred but not required. The traveler may be requested to float to different locations as needed. Adaptability and a strong understanding of medical-surgical care and ratios are essential for this role.
