We're partnered with an ENR-ranked GC on a major hyperscale data center project in Cedar Rapids, IA.
We're looking for an experienced MEP Senior Project Manager to take ownership of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection scopes from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage MEP/FP subcontractors, scopes, contracts and change orders
- Coordinate with owners, A/E, VDC/BIM, Superintendents and commissioning teams
- Manage submittals, procurement, equipment deliveries and project schedules
- Oversee testing, commissioning, inspections and life-safety requirements
- Drive MEP coordination, field progress and project closeout
Ideal Background:
- 10+ years MEP/FP experience
- 5+ years MEP Project Management experience
- Previous GC experience on data center projects
- Strong BIM/VDC and multi-trade coordination experience
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE and applicable codes
- Strong communication and project leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred
