Hiring HHA/PCA needed for Staten Island We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified HHA or PCA to provide high-quality home care for a senior family member in Staten Island. We respect the hard work caregivers do and offer a competitive, straightforward hourly rate that is paid reliably. What We Offer: Top-Tier Pay: $21.00 – $23.00/hr, depending on experience. Please note this highly competitive rate is all-inclusive and already accounts for your daily travel and transportation costs. COMPANY OVERVIEW: Alvita Care is a mission-driven Home Healthcare & Personal Care Agency with four branches and over 500 caregivers. We provide relief and assurance to family members in the areas of In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management and have earned The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. Alvita Care clients are all private-pay and we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid. As we expand our circle of care, we are seeking top-notch caregivers to service our Connecticut needs across the five boroughs. We have private-duty one-on-one care cases available as well as facility-based care cases. All applicants are subject to a phone screening to determine compatibility and overall availability of accommodations for both the caregiver and the agency. Please note that cases with Alvita Care are only available to caregivers who successfully complete the onboarding process. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid HHA/PCA certification in the state of NY. Authorized to work in the U.S. At least 1 Year of experience as HHA/PCA. Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form Must successfully complete Alvita Care process to accept cases Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviors with care Trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate Memory Care, Palliative, ADL, and transfer experience are all a plus DETAILS: Full-time, part-time, & per diem schedule options are available 6 - 12 hour day time shifts available; overnights available occasionally Weekend availability and flexibility with shifts Supportive and respectful work environment Pay ranges from $21.00-23.00/hourly Weekly paycheck on Fridays (direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check) Some Additional benefits to look forward to: Medical / health benefits available* Sick time – up to 56 hours per year of sick time per year based on hours worked 401(k) with company match ** Fast onboarding process to get you working ASAP
