Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool) – Iowa

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Float pool position with exposure to diverse patient populations across multiple specialties
• Unit assignments include Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Telemetry
• Opportunity to build versatile clinical skills across a variety of acute care settings
• May include floating to a campus location approximately 9.5 miles away
• Expedited credentialing available for qualified candidates with flexible start availability
• 24-hour non-binding offer may be waived for fast-start candidates

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or eligibility for compact state licensure
• Recent acute care experience in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or related specialty units
• Willingness and ability to float across multiple units and patient populations
• Strong adaptability, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
