About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med-Surg/Float Pool) – Iowa

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; every other weekend and every other holiday rotation

Highlights:

• Float pool position with exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical specialties
• Experience includes Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Telemetry units
• Opportunity to work across multiple campuses, including a location approximately 9.5 miles from the main campus
• Flexibility in scheduling with waived 24-hour notice before assignment
• Night shift schedule providing continuity of care during critical hours

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or eligible for licensure
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability and willingness to float across multiple specialties and campus locations
• Strong adaptability, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred
