We emphasize one-on-one care to foster strong therapeutic relationships, allowing our therapists the flexibility to manage their schedules effectively for optimal work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their individual needs and movement dysfunctions.Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with personal goals set in collaboration with the patient.Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate recovery and enhance functionality.Educate patients and their families about their conditions, recommended treatment protocols, and strategies for ongoing wellness.Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation that complies with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions, sharing insights and learning new methodologies to improve practice.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will engage with a diverse range of patients experiencing various orthopedic-related challenges, from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management and mobility issues. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with individuals of all ages, providing you with unique insights into different patient circumstances and rehabilitation trajectories.QualificationsValid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree is preferred.At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, although candidates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.Proficiency in therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and functional movement assessments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient education.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years' experience in outpatient orthopedic care.Experience working with advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
