Telemetry RN in Alexandria, Louisiana

Job Description:

Join a cardiac and telemetry unit in Alexandria as a travel Registered Nurse working 12-hour night shifts. You will assess assigned patients, provide routine and complex nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness and side effects, document care in Epic, and support patients and families through education and care planning. This assignment offers a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule, no call, and an every-other-weekend rotation. The unit is cardiac and telemetry—not stepdown—and uses a practical 5:1–6:1 patient ratio depending on staffing. AHA BLS and ACLS certifications and an active Louisiana or compact RN license are required.
