• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Train, mentor, and develop line cooks — building a kitchen team that takes pride in their work
• Contribute to menu development, seasonal specials, and sourcing decisions
• Manage prep, mise en place, and BOH organization to set the team up for success
• Oversee food cost controls, inventory, ordering, and waste reduction
• Uphold sanitation, food safety, and health code standards at all times
• Step in as acting Kitchen Manager in the Executive Chef's absence --- WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Culinary experience in an upscale, scratch-kitchen or chef-driven concept
• A passion for fresh, coastal, and seasonal ingredients — this is not a frozen food kitchen
• Proven ability to lead and develop a BOH team in a high-standards environment
• Strong understanding of food cost, ordering, and kitchen systems
• A collaborative, low-ego attitude with high personal accountability
• Fine dining, upscale casual, or seafood-forward experience is a strong plus
• ServSafe certification or equivalent
