Role Description The Commercial Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area. This role oversees commercial automation projects from initial planning through completion, including defining scope, timelines, and resource needs, and coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress against milestones, and addressing risks or issues to keep projects on track. The Commercial Project Manager prepares and reviews proposals, contracts, and change orders, ensures compliance with specifications, and maintains accurate project documentation. This role also involves regular communication with stakeholders, providing status updates, aligning expectations, and supporting a high level of customer satisfaction during installation and post‑implementation. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret project requirements, assess risks, and support data‑driven decisions. Clear, professional communication skills for coordinating with clients, internal teams, and vendors. Experience with budgeting and finance to plan, track, and report project costs and profitability. Proficiency in contract management, including reviewing terms, managing change orders, and ensuring compliance. Previous experience managing commercial construction, technology integration, or AV/automation projects. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfort with technology and systems integration; familiarity with smart building, AV, or IT solutions is beneficial. Relevant associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
