Description

- Craft individualized treatment plans that encompass both immediate objectives and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
- Deliver tailored one-on-one speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure a seamless care experience.
- Provide education to patients and family members, supporting their journey toward progress even outside of clinical sessions.
- Participate occasionally in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a continuous care continuum throughout the patient's journey.
- Ensure meticulous and timely documentation that aligns with state regulations, federal mandates, and organizational standards.
- Engage in ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field through collective learning with peers.

- ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Skills
- Proficiency in implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies across all age groups, coupled with a firm grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Flexibility in adapting therapeutic approaches to accommodate a wide array of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong clinical judgment paired with effective problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records standards and documentation requirements.
Benefits

A Journey That Inspires — and Inspires Others
In this position, you won't simply deliver speech therapy — you'll become an integral part of a mission-driven community committed to restoring voices, enhancing communication, and fostering joy through genuine human interactions. Here, you'll collaborate with fellow clinicians who prioritize family-like support and collective success, recognizing that each patient has a unique narrative waiting to be told.
